Anyone use this jacket?

There are a few post out there about the pants in particular, and a few about the jacket. But looking for some more info before pulling the trigger.

I sweat a lot when moving, so I'm looking for something that can go over a base layer and maybe a thin fleece and keep me warm and somewhat dry even in colder temps (15*-20*). For anything colder, I'm happy pulling on a synthetic insulation layer and slowing down.

Anyone using the jacket? Thoughts? Much appreciated!!

Really light soft shell. Pretty much no insulation value. I like mine for when I am hiking.

I like mine a lot, I run really hot as well it seems, only break out the ferrosi when temps will be below freezing (not all day, just trips where the low dips below 32). When not using the Ferrosi I use a BD Alpine Start which is about half the weight and much better in warmer temps. I posted on the recent windshirt thread about using the ferrosi in 80mph+ winds and below freezing temps last weekend and was super impressed by it.

Solid feedback - thanks guys. Definitely going to pick one up.

I've had one for a couple of years. Very light weight. No insulation but it blocks winds up to about 15 mph. I wear mine when hiking, especially when hiking up hill. I can wear it and a light smart wool shirt into the low 20s while moving. It's tough as hell. But it willl not keep me warm if I'm just sitting sitting still.

I'm selling a medium non hooded in brown if anyone is interested.

I would also recommend looking at their Centrifuge jacket- wind and precip resistant, great hood, thumbholes- it breathes really well as it has some fleece openings on the sides- a very nice active layer

I've got one but haven't found much use for it. It looked good on paper, but is a very light soft shell without much versatility. For me, it does about the same as a LS merino base layer which I am already packing. It does have advantage in water / wind resistance, but not enough to make it a rain jacket.
