I am vertically challenged at 5-8" ... any recommendations for reputable brands who sell quality outdoor/hunting pants with shorter inseams?

I know First Lite and Outdoor Research.... but any other options?

Im the same height and Sitka regular fit fine. i think 5'8 is average. if you are under 5'5" then you will need short. even with outdoor research i prefer regular over short.

I tried the Sitka timberline pants... padded knees were off a few inches. Good to know on other pant lines! Will look into Sitka! Appreciate the feedback #peasandcarrots

5'8" vertically challenged??? I'm 5'6" with a longer torso and shorter legs, 28" inseam. I have yet to find any pants that have knee pads, or even cargo pockets that are properly placed. I have pretty much given up on finding pants with either feature that I like. I have been using Duluth Trading Flex Pants.

I am 5’7”. I only use KUIU pants cause they’re easily hemible because they have super simple cuffs. I switched from Sitka to KUIU for that reason. Never looked back. I’m 34x32 think they all come in 36 length if I’m not mistaken. Sure that’s changed.

I’d start with Attacks. Best pants made imo.
