For the money, there’s no reason anyone shouldn’t have the Impulse or something similar!

I've got the impulses and really like them. When I shoot at the local indoor range, I double up the impulse with a traditional over the ear muff. It's very comfortable overall. It's a hearing saver when an SBR (no suppressor, the savage) or 14" .270 win braked pistol (really happened) is going off in the next lane.

I run the phantom's for sporting clays and love them. One caution is if you have existing hearing aid's paired to your iPhone you cannot pair these unless you remove your existing hearing aids.

I’ve got a set of Soundgear Instant fit ear plugs and one thing I absolutely can’t stand is there is no on off button or switch. Once you install the battery, they stay on until the battery dies. And installing new batteries isn’t exactly easy in the field. Do theses have a power switch?

@SDHNTR They do. They have an auto on/off when placed on or removed from the dock, or you can manually turn them on/off with a push button on the unit.
