OTC Bull back from Taxidermy

Nice bull. Especially for otc Colorado.

One trick for mounting elk, to make sure you get the center of the studs. Take a sheet rock hand saw and cut a small slit on each side of where you mark the stud. It’ll make it fool proof for finding center and not risking it pulling out and falling.

Another one I use is to hammer a small nail in. You can tell if you hit the stud or need to move. I’d hate for that to come crashing down one night!

When I hung my daughter's bull, the stud finder showed me one spot. I drilled a hole......nothing. So I replaced the battery and tried again. It pointed to a spot 3" left of the first hole. So I drilled a hole........nothing. That stud finder didn't survive past strike two. Bought a new stud finder and hit it first try.

Looks awesome - Congrats man. I have my first bull in my living room. This may sound cheesy, but every time I look at it - It's a reminder of how hard you have to work to achieve your goals. I feel like if you can kill a bull on public land - you can do anything. I hope that mount gives you some great memories and reminders of the grind!
