Just picked this up and it is unregistered, not used brand new. I was going to do an 8wt setup but am just going to line up my current 6wt since it is technically a 7wt and the 8wt would be redundant. This is the model Orvis calls the "saltwater" version but it is the same rod as the freshwater just with a fighting butt and nice blue color.
For the rod looking for $330, passing on the deal I got for it on here. With purchase of the rod I will also throw in a Fishpond water bottle holder and a streamer box that is identical to Clif boxes and made by the same manufacturer. Will also include 100m of 20lbs backing.
