Hey everyone…
I just put this together. I’m definitely not a pro at this but I just wanted to do a fun project. I hope you enjoy. It is going to be a series of videos doing an in depth review of the Orvis Pro HD, Sitka Jetstream, and Kuiu Guide Pro softshells.
Check it out and don’t beat me up too much :)

I like to nerd out on that stuff… just a fun project. I have one outing under my belt, and they do perform a little different. Going to be fun.
Thanks for checking it out.

I am a big fan of the Orvis Pro line of hunting clothes I think it is really underrated. I like the slim cut and long sleeves plus it is all built really well, and they stand behind their gear.

I have all 3 in the vests. They are very similar, but I think the Orvis vest fabric is slightly louder than the others. It is the newest of the 3, so maybe it will soften up with use.

I noticed that too… it is definitely a thicker material. More coarse. I’m giving it abrasion resistance :)
So, why do you have 3 also? Testing them out or just a little bit of a gear junky, like myself :)

I guess I'm a bit of a gear junkie, but mainly because they all serve different purposes. The Sitka is grey for everyday wear, the Kuiu is camo, and the Orvis is orange for use during gun season.

I’m interested to see your thoughts on the abrasion resistance, we have a chunk of our property that was clear cut and is growing up in green briars and by the time it’s thick enough to hold deer and we can drive it I’ll need to find something strong enough to not get shredded when I walk through it.

Excellent job and very helpful seeing the fit differences. So many reviews are lacking in frame of reference.

I have several Orvis Pro fishing pieces and feel they are underrated.

Thanks, Honda I appreciate it. It’s been fun.

CMP… You got it and will do. It is a thicker or more coarse of a material but not so much that is noticeable when you are wearing the jacket. Only in a side by side comparison. It is the loudest of the 3, may not be horrible in rifle conditions. Again not load when it’s by itself, but it is when it’s side by side. Sitka is the quietest jacket.
