Oregon Mule Deer Unit Changes

I wish there would of been a little more specifics included on when and where to show up/voice our opinions.

He stated hunters need to show up, but didn’t even clearly state what month such a thing is scheduled.

I do believe they at least finally took the commission meeting out if archery season.
But I think it’d still in Bandon which is about one of the most remote places in Oregon

ya agreed, but at least they're trying to adapt to what the new technology has taught us.
Exactly. My only concern is there is some unforeseen negative results. Therefore it’s something that should be done on a small scale so that a course correct can be made if necessary. Just one state should be enough to see if it’s a viable way for others to follow, if several states jumped on this at once, I could see disaster. By disaster I think that’s more on the hunters experience, success rate and ability to draw tags not so much a disaster for the health of the herds.

My unit got rolled into another unit with a 30% reduction in tags. Mostly private farmland where the mule deer have been doing fine.

Oregon sucks so bad. When it comes to hunting and politics its hard not to hate it here
