I ordered 2 barrels from OMR, and was told 8 -10 weeks. At 8 weeks I checked status through email and was told to expect closer to 12-14 weeks.

Yesterday was 12 weeks. Emailed with no response. Called twice and finally got him on the phone. I was told he has no ETA on when the barrels will be to him. He will still need to wrap them in carbon fiber once they return.

I am not happy that I do not have an ETA.
I am not happy that there has been no communication from OMR on status of when the barrels will be completed.

OMR was very helpful in the beginning stages and ordering the barrels, they were helpful when discussing stock options. McMillan asked for a few specific measurements and OMR told me that they were in Montana looking at property and I would get that when they returned. That was over 2 weeks ago.

I hope I get them in time to dial in for my antelope hunt. I hope they are shooters.

Here's my hard learned advice, don't do it!
OMR claims to use a high quality match grade blank but they refuse to disclose the maker.
I stupidly took Lee's word for it even though alarms were going off in my head.
After seeing how poorly it shot I asked my smith how the barrel looked, he said it literally bowed in two different directions and had bad tooling marks in the bore.

Do yourself a favor and spend a little more on a high quality barrel with a proven track record.
I replaced the OMR with a spiral fluted #5 Rock Creek barrel that shoots bug holes, FWIW it only weighs 3lbs at 24".
If you really want CF go with a Bartlein, Proof, HCA, or Paradigm

This interesting. I just spoke with Lee a couple of weeks ago and he told me that he uses Rock Creek as his blanks. Perhaps at the beginning of his operation he has was not using Rock Creek.

I bought an AG stock from them and built my own rifle. Stock came on time and they were easy to deal with, but I cant speak to their builds. Mine weighs exactly 7 lbs 0 oz as seen, without the bipod.
