Oregon backcountry deer?

Looking for people interested in hiking in for deer. Archery or rifle.
I'm in the Portland area but prefer hunting the open/dryer side of the state.
I'm already in a rifle elk camp with dudes that are not into backpacking so I'm looking for backcountry adventure.

Me and a buddy are gearing up for a back country trip for elk in Wyoming this year. We both live in Central Oregon. I might be interested in doing some muley hunting local though. Archery for sure.

I plan on putting in for the high cascade hunt in 2019. 2018 was my first year in OR and it certainly was a lot different then the southwest, so i had little luck but learned alot

The Oregon Chapter of BHA is a pretty solid resource for finding go-getters in your area! We're working pretty hard to improve our presence in Portland.

Same here. I'm in Central Oregon and would certainly be interested in chasing some bulls and big muleys during archery season with yall
