options for 3 people and a stove

Does anyone have any more experience with 3 people and stove in the BCS2 or LBO shelter options. Trying to figure out if it would be worth putting in a stove jack into a SL5 for 3 hunters and gear.

I went through almost the same debate/conversation with myself two seasons ago. Settled on a sl5 with stove jack and tried that- honestly for a multi-day hunt in CO high country it is just too damn small for 3 avg sized dudes. Bought an 8 man that fall/winter and havent looked back- it is flat out awesome to have the room and ability to warm up/dry out. I use it with 2 now as well. just over 10lbs for two guys to split up for the comfort in my opinion is just worth it. 3 is a no brainer to me.

Yeah going to be selling the SL 5 and either getting the SeekOutside 6P or 8P. In your 8p what size/brand stove are you using?

I actually made my own roll-up stove- it is 12" long and I think 8.5 or 9 diameter (MSR TI plates for end caps) run a 3" 9 foot pipe out of it. It is very similar to an Ed T stove in looks. put my own spark arrestor and bought a damper from ti goat. I would equate it to a kifaru medium as far as burn volume and heat generation (had one but sold it). It seems to do the job (only used it down to about 25 degrees though). I think medium or large would be fine- but I do like the weight savings of the roll up option and I dont use it to boil water (could but it just takes too long).
