Option sight shooting distance

I have been using the Option 8 since it came out, love it. I typically shoot a heavier arrow and have always got over 100 yards out of the sight.
One thing I recommend to get a bigger range out of the sight is start your tape/top pin at 30. I know that at 10 and 20 my 30 pin is going to be no more than a few inches high. At that close, that means a dead animal for me. What I get in return is 10 more yards added to the end of the range.
I think the Rx-1 Ultra I set up is shooting a 459gr arrow at aprox 285. The Rx-1 Turbo is shooting a 515gr arrow at aprox 280.
Both get about 125 yards out of the Option 8.

Thanks a lot for the information, that is really close to my setup. I was hoping to get over a 100 with it and sounds like I should be able to.

Heard back from Dan. Appears to be the same status as before. They made some prototypes, and they plan on offering a few different size peeps before to long. I have zero clue what to long means but, at least he is working on them.
