I’m not sure what you are talking about; the 5th pin is separate and on another axis and is moveable. It is as it should be.

The only marking on the sight is R-0020; no markings am where it was made

I have two Option 6 sights. The reason they are called option 6 is because they have 6 pins. 5 fixed and 1 moveable. You must not be the original owner. They make a china version and a USA version. Big price difference if they are still doing that.
