looking to do a few late season overnighters and don't have a ton of money to drop but my old thermarest pad is shot. any opinions on the klymit static v insulated pad. i also have a thermarest z rest that i could supplement with. not really looking for opinions on warmth, more just overall quality.

I bought one for 1st season in colorado. My friend ended up sleeping on it for 3 nights. I think build quality is close to Thermares pads. I can't answer how long it will last because it is fairly new. Overall for the price I think it is a good choice and one place that saving money won't adversly affect you.

Massdrop has an "ultralight" version that I picked up a few months back. Only had a chance to use it once but it was comfortable. Specs seem comparable to the NeoTherm.

I am thinking of picking up the insulated for next year. I bought the original static V when they were first released and I was worried that with the low price point that I wouldn't last. I have a few seasons on the static V and wouldn't hesitate to buy the insulted version.

Spent 10 days on mine and I like it fine enough. It is relatively light and compact. It blows up in 12 breaths for me and did not leak at any point during those ten days. I was comfortable in any position I was laying in as I toss d and turned all night dreaming about elk. I have nothing to complain or rave about, so I guess that means it's just a good piece of gear that does its job. I also have the pillow and it held up just fine as well.

Great deal on Camofire for the King Camo Klymit Insulated Static V right now. Just bought my son one and a matching Klymit X pillow for Boy Scouts and future elk hunts in a few years for $80.

There is also a current massdrop for the klymit static V ultra light (you choose insulated or not).
You won't get it as fast as from camofire but it's the lighter slightly smaller version if that matters to you.

I've been using the "Luxe" versions (30" wide) in both insulated and uninsulated. I highly recommend them, I find them as durable as any Thermarest I've used. I only switched because I am an active sleeper and kept rolling off the Thermarests, haven't had that problem with these.

We have the Klymit Static V Insulated in camo for $59.99 at Camofire. Feel free to give us a call and we can get you squared away or answer any questions you may have. 801-676-9631

Picked up a Staic V Insulated Lite for this season. Only 9 nights on it so far, but I give it 2 thumbs up! Lighter, compacts smaller, and more comfy than my old thermarest.

I have the lite version. Great compromise with price, weight, size. Only complaint is the value is hard to open. Maybe its just mine but getting easier with use.

I have used the non insulated static V for a few years on multiple trips and its a good product . Ive never had a problem with it and would buy again .

I picked one up off here used shipped for $30. Zero complaints. Ive had it in NM and CO so far.
