I just bought a box of the Hornady Superformance 130gr .270 win GMX and will be comparing its accuracy in my rifle against Barnes Accubond Trophy Grade, and Barnes Vor-TX. All 130 gr. Ive been reading some folks saying that the GMX is only effective when pushed at velocities exceeding 3000 fps. Has anyone chronographed these factory loads. They are advertised at 3190 fps at muzzle which would answer all concerns of its expansion capabilities. But I'm not sure I will get that out of my rifle. Any personal experiences would be great to hear...

In my experience monolithic bullets need speed to be effective. My personal velocity limit is 2000fps. With most standard calibers and normal shot distances you won't see a problem.
If they shoot good in your rifle I would recommend using them for normal hunting. Of the 3 bullets you listed I'd use the accubonds if they shoot good.

Ive read some stuff published by Hornady and others that even with a 22" barrel they are reaching just over 3000 fps. So I think I'll be just fine. I'm going to be very inclined to hunt with whichever groups the best at distance. Why would you go with the accubonds? all accuracy being the same that is

They are referring to the velocity at the muzzle. I'm referring to impact velocity.
If all 3 shoot about the same I like accubonds. They perform well on game. Whichever you choose just make sure to practice and verify drops to whatever distance you feel comfortable shooting.

In my experience the GMX needs a little higher impact velocity to expand than the Barnes bullets.
Personally I prefer Barnes. Either one, put it in the shoulder and be willing to lose a little meat.
