opinions on an 18" 6.5 Creedmoor

Just to pile on I have a 16” AR in 6.5C. Handloads for 143 just north of 2600fps shoots about 1 MOA. Same load in my 24” tikka good for about 2800fps.

Is the muzzle blast much worse on the ears for the 18" & 20" barrels? I kicked the idea of a can around for a while, but decided weight is my top priority, and earplugs are light. If I would only actually put them in my ears...
