I’m going with tanned hides……full body mounts are unreal on theses things

Yes they are but this was my first wolf and who knows may be my last. The 204 ruger 45 grain soft point at a hundred yards , he dropped like a rock about five years ago Polebridge Montana. Neck shot at base of skull.

That's a real beauty there,I'd like to get a dark phase like that or a black one, but it's like winning the lottery. I was calling coyotes when this lone male showed up.
