Congrats to you and your son, that is a beautiful ram! My boys are only 6&7 now but I look forward to the day that I can take them on an adventure like yours!

Great adventure and some fantastic groceries laying there! Tell you son how proud the folks over at Rokslide are of him!! What rifle did he use??

He was using his grandpa's Rem 700 (18.5" barrel) .308 130 grain ttsx. He was ringing steel at 450 yds, the shot on the sheep was 56 yds.

Maybe some of you have not headed out yet and want to get a little more inspiration. My 12 yr old son's first Stone, 56 yds head-on shot at 9:00 am opening day. The boy proved his mettle on this hunt, story, and more pictures to come.
