Looking for audiobooks/books or podcast on open country/ prairie mule deer. Seems everything I find is for high country except for Mike eastmans open country book.

Mainly Great Plains states like western SD, Nebraska, eastern Wyoming and Montana.

It’s been about 10 years since I read Dwight’s book and if I remember correctly it focuses more on high sage country in eastern Oregon??

The hard grass prairies in the states you mentioned hunt a little different. It’s gets really hot and windy here in the summer and really cold and windy in the winter. Those deer have to have protection from the elements year-round. I’d start looking for places like this.
