Really want a Jetstream jacket for out west as well as back home to use in a stand and still hunting. I’ve seen it commented here before that the Open Country pattern sticks out like a sore thumb in a tree. Does anyone run this pattern and can vouch for that? I can’t see one pattern or the other really making you stand out more or less with all the reading I’ve done on deer eyesight. Unless the pattern really does absolutely nothing to hide your silhouette. I know it’s all a marketing ploy and it’s subjective. Just looking for input

Anecdotes are not data but I've used Open Country in a tree with good results: keep movement to a minimum and just about any camo pattern (or non-camo pattern) will work. I've been using an ASAT leafy jacket also with good results and it lets me dress for any weather without worrying about another camo layer.

Back cover in a tree is more important to me than the camo.

Thanks for the reply! I agree completely. it was just odd that the few posts I searched prior there were some echoes of that pattern in particular sticking out.
