Onx maps from camofire?

Has anyone bought the premium membership from there? How does it work if you already have a state, do they mail or email you a code or something?


I have a few out of state hunts I want to plan for so I figured I’d buy the premium just to have it but sorta confused on the situation of it

I bought my brother and law and buddy the basic on x membership from camofire. They sent a card with a code on it you enter when you make an account. It was nice to finally get on the same page and be able to send dropped pins to each other that everyone can see.

I have the normal membership, not the elite, but I just logged in to check on this. If you go to manage your account and then click upgrade membership to elite, there is a box you can check for "I have a promo code". I imagine this is how you would use your camofire purchased card to update your account. Maybe someone else who has done that can chime in. I will have to do it eventually if I start doing out of state non-resident hunts.

There is a specific web address that comes with the card. You follow that url and enter your account and code. Done and done. Went from Wyoming only to all states when Wyoming didn't want to trade cash for a tag.....

If you upgrade to elite it’s easy to do from your existing account with the code from the card that camofire will mail. If your just buying one state but already have an open account with one state it’s a bit more complicated, but not bad. You just have to call or email customer service and give them the code and your account info and they will unlock an additional premium state. Doesn’t make any sense why you have to go through customer service but it’s a fact. Just don’t wait until Thursday to call if you need it Friday like I did because they close early on Thursday’s smh. Definitely will continue purchasing through camofire though, substantial savings!

I bought the basic membership off camofire a few weeks ago. I think it was $16.99. When it came in the mail I went to set it up on my phone and it offered the elite membership for $29.99. I jumped on that so I ended up with elite for $47!

So, pro-tip guys, if you call in to BlackOvis/CamoFire they will sell you the OnX subscription card at CamoFire prices ($60!) any time. Maybe limited quantity.
