OnX and fires

I just was going to look to see how far a current fire is from me right now to use the distance tool on the app. I was going to look for a lake I knew it was close by to use for approximate distance when low and behold I see a little fire icon in that area. I zoom in and onX is showing the actual last updated outline of the fire I assume according to inciweb. Very cool OnX. This fire is a pretty new fire.

It's the Colt fire between seeley and swan lake in MT if you want to check it out.

I actually just noticed the fire notification this evening as well. Pretty cool addition. I often open onX for various uses outside of hunting, before opening google maps or similar.

Some of the new tools make it my first pick for many digital mapping needs.

I saw that it was showing me Idaho too so that makes sense.
