Does anybody have any suggestions for an Ontario outfitter? Not looking for trophies (would be nice though haha) maybe even a cow tag. Trying to set something up for my dad, brother and myself. We’d like to do it on our own but aren’t opposed to a guided hunt. I’ve tried to contact 5 different outfitters with no responses.

I can't speak to the Non Resident situation but I know from friends and relatives that many of Ontario's Units are near impossible to draw a tag in and after decades of allowing anyone to shoot a calf many are starting to suffer from severely low populations. Overall the Moose population in Ontario seems to have been poorly managed and with the current Covid-19 related protocols in place in Ontario Outfitters may be busy scrambling to sooth booked clients, stay afloat and find someway to offset the severe losses they are facing this year. I'd expect very delayed responses.
Manitoba or Saskatchewan would worth consideration either way I think you are going to be looking at a guided hunt or at least semi guided as nonresident alien.
You may be able to get on some cancellation lists and get out fall 2021.

Thanks for the response. A different outfitter responded to my dad, so we’ll try to get more details there. We were under the impression that NR’s could do a drop camp style hunt, but it had to be through an outfitter. We are not expecting trophies, just want to get our feet wet and see what it’s all about since we’ve never been moose hunting
