Just got this email from Big Game Forever. I signed it. Worth the time. I know some of you don't like BGF, so post up your fav org that is in the wolf battle and I'll probably sign that one, too.
Dear Sportsman,
60 Seconds of your time is critical right now. We need the help of every hunter in America. Please send a message to protect the future of conservation and our rights as sportsmen at: http://capwiz.com/biggameforever/issues/alert/?alertid=62830341&PROCESS=Take+Action.
We need hundreds of thousands of messages in support of the national wolf-delisting announced June 7th, 2013.
Here is what is happening: Right now, powerful and well-funded anti-hunting groups are sending tens of thousands of messages to decision makers in Washington D.C., urging them to block state conservation efforts and support their radical views. It is critical that our elected officials hear from many dedicated sportsmen conservationist, like you, today!

This isn’t just about wolves, it is about protecting the future of:
(1) big game conservation,
(2) our rights as sportsmen; and
(3) states' efforts to protect our wildlife!
Our goal is to reach 5 million sportsmen and send hundreds of thousands of messages. Our native wildlife and our outdoor heritage is at stake.
Just look at these recent stats!
Minnesota - 97% NW Moose Decline: Hunt Closed . Moose in Northwest Minnesota have gone from 4,000 moose to 100 moose in the last 20 years. Statewide Moose declined from 13,000 moose to 2,800 moose leading to indefinite closure of the statewide moose hunt.
Montana - 80% N. Yellowstone Elk Decline: Hunt Closed . Elk in Montana’s Northern Yellowstone have gone from 20,000 elk to less than 4,000 elk. The late Gardiner Elk Hunt is now closed.
Wyoming - 80% Jackson Moose Decline: Hunt Closed. Moose in Jackson have declined by the thousands. In some areas total moose counts are in the single digits. Six hundred moose permits are now gone.
Idaho - 87% Lolo Elk Decline. Elk in Idaho’s Lolo area have declined from 16,000 elk to less than 2,000 elk.
What you can do…it takes less than 60 seconds to send a letter directly to your U.S. Senators and Representatives and other decision makers in Washington D.C.!
If you haven’t already, please send a message here: http://capwiz.com/biggameforever/issues/alert/?alertid=62830341&PROCESS=Take+Action
Send the prewritten letter as is, or tweak it a bit to say in your own words why they need to allow states to manage their conservation efforts to protect native wildlife and our outdoor heritage.
Thank you for your support,
Ryan Benson
