Kuiu attacks.

I've tried Sitka Accents, FL Kanabs, and Prana Zion. I really wanted the Kanabs to work, but the fit wasn't right and the durability was not what I was looking for. Attacks are a little warm compared to Accents, but the hip vents negate that.

The biggest decider for me was the fit. Prana zion and FL Kanab are more of the skinny jean type fit, too uncomfortable. Kuiu and Sitka were more 'athletic' cut.

I haven't used the Attacks but I here lots and lots of good about them - I wouldn't be without my Timberline pants though - LONG before we seemed to begin "needing" all of these specialized pants I wore wool pants and not surplus but Filson and Woolrich and I was always comfortable and aside from having to pluck some burrs now and then wool worked - My son had a pair of Kanabs and absolutely loves them as well

I was following another thread yesterday and in a moment of weakness I ordered a pair of Chinook KUIU's - I'll comment when I get them and again after I've hunted in them (but DAMMIT ! no knife pocket !!)

The Chinook pants are great. I wore them this weekend and also in mid-December in the snow and single digit weather. Great versatility and comfort.

just picked up some attacks, only concern is alot of people seem to use in cold, but they seem awfully light and thin for that to me, but not use to this lightweight stuff either

I have a serious boner for my Zions...haven't ran them in cold weather yet but they are tits in hot and cool weather!

I've been wearing wool the past few years; picking up "vintage" woolrich pants and jackets on eBay once in awhile. The stuff works great BUT the weight is a concern with the steep/thick areas we hunt. It has me wanting something with stretch due to all the blowdowns.

Kuiu Chinooks

They are more versatile than attacks, the pocket layout is way better and the knee pads are really nice.

I rotated three pairs of Sitka Ascents for around 6 years before switching over to the attack pants. The ascent pant were awesome and have zero complaints but I might like the attacks a little bit more. My only complaint about the attack pants is they are horrible in sticker bushes. I was hunting the low country yesterday and they picked up every sticker I walked by. In the high country they are flawless, especially with the leg vents.

I use the Outdoor Research Ferrosi Pants. Super lightweight, stretchy, pretty breathable, and very durable. And they cost a bit less than a lot of other pants out on the market.
