What are you carrying in ur pack? Most of the time I have
-2 granola bars
-1 smoked oysters
-2 trail mixes
-1 crackers packets
-1 tuna salad
 
My snacks look like this

2 cliff bars
1 kellogs fruit snack (big bag)
1 trail mix
Maybe a few cliff shot bloks too.
 
daytrips ... not all of these at once

mac and cheese
candy bars
crackers and cheese
MH chicken salad on tortilla
PBJ on tortilla
Mh fajitas on tortilla
chips
candy
breakfast bars
1 serving peanut butter plain
trail mix
almonds
 
Some or all of these

Costco Trail mix.
Keebler Cheese crackers
Tuna salad and Crackers (Bumblebee)
Clif bars
Nature Valley Protein bars
Clif Shot Blocks
 
Usually allot four per day per person (we don't do an actual lunch meal, just multiple snacks) of the following:
PB filled pretzels
CheeseIts
Nutter Butters
Snickers/Almond Joys/ peanut m&ms/other nut based candy bars
Lara Bars
Costco Nut and Seed Bars
Clif Bars
Justin's Nut Butter Packets (alone, or on tortillas or mini pita bread)
Smoked cheddar cheese
Precooked bacon
Smoked Salmon
GUs
Cheese crackers

I try to be sure each snack provides between 220-300 calories (except obviously the GUs which are only one hundred each). The individually portioned snack packs/bags are great...cuts down on the amount of measuring and repackaging I have to do.

When weight allows we will bring instant potatoes, tuna or chicken in foil packets, and even sometimes the shelf stable sandwich pockets....
