@KurtR

I do. Phenomenal drive and abilities. Not for most people or families due to the amount of work and exercise they need. Love the breed tho.

I’m going to no longer derail, as this thread seemed to have come back to an adult conversation.

The hero worship for someone you’ve never met is kinda odd to me

His bow hunting success and critter size is largely driven by hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of private land hunts; his public land stuff before he was famous isn’t much different than lots of guys

The athletic abilities; I’m guess are highly influenced by chemistry

I don’t think I’d go that far. As a self proclaimed non-lover of any of these insta-stars, I think Haynes can do things 99.9999% of us can’t. Give me some roids and I still ain’t runnin 200 miles for 7 days straight or whatever these crazy bustards do!

I think the jealousy comes from god putting him on this earth to be a bowhunter. And the same wasn’t done for any of us

if you told me he wasn’t 100% natural, I wouldn’t call you crazy. BUT there ain’t no steroids that are gonna make you run a marathon, especially at 55.
When I ran a lot I got really skinny kinda like he used to look; the amount of muscle he put on in his 40’s and 50’s all while still running a ton, ugh sure..

I enjoyed the tribute to Roy Roth part of the video a bunch. I bow hunted brown bears in Alaska with Roy Roth 4 months before he died, No one I'd have rather been with than Roy when we followed up my bear thru thick alders after I arrowed it low in heart at 12:40 AM. We waited until 7 AM to follow the bear up....dead 220 yards away. Roy packed a Mossberg 12 ga pump with slugs and I was glad he did.

I gained respect for Cam (don't know him) based on Roy's friendship with him. Roy was definitely the real deal with around 10 self-guided brown bears and 10 Dall rams arrowed over a 20 year period in Alaska. He was a good guy too!
