The past few years I have hunted w/o rain gear...well basically just used an old military poncho and used it as a shelter, vestibule for my tent, and rain gear. Called up Kuiu today and ordered myself a set of Chugach in Olive. It rained 10 out of 11 days on me last year and I figured it was time to get a light weight, backpacking functional set of rain gear. My Cabela's Gore-Tex one weighs like 5 lbs and took up WAY to much space in the pack.
