Those old felt hats were the hat of the day in north idaho in the 70-80's......he grew up in Sandpoint with Pat Mcmanus....tough old dude my pops is Army Ranger, 3 tours in Nam and 2 Purple Hearts...lucky to still be around and good times those were!

Ha! It's relative all right. 90's is about as far back as my personal photos go, since I'm just a young dude. 90's or not, it was/is a pretty old school style hunting camp. However, if I want to borrow from the family archives, how about this one from an Alaskan caribou hunt dated Oct 1937?

Yes it does and yes he was! As you know, they cover way more ground regardless of how far we go

That was the last "simple" year...looking forward to some more simple years as I just retired for the first time!
