Hey guys,

Been outta the archery game for a bit, but been wanting to pick it back up. I have an old Mathews Legacy at 70lb/ 28.5 draw. Without investing in a newer bow with all the new features, what's the recommendations for an updated arrow that will take down an elk?

How many of you shoot different arrows for elk versus deer or javelina?

For what it's worth I did get the bow to a local shop and they said it still was in good shape.

Thanks in advance.

300 to 350 spine arrow weighing around 450 grains is my preference. 28 to 29 inches in length.

Brand specific I'm a fan of Gold Tip Pro Hunters. Lots of good options these days on arrows though.
