Any of you other geezers have an old injury that flares up when the when is going to change?

I severed 8 tendons in my hand about 12 years ago.
The past couple years it’s become really noticeable when the weather changes.

Totally destroyed my left hand/wrist in high school. Broke a whole lot of bones, lots of hardware installed, etc. Very reliable pressure change indicator.

Cracked my skull in a few places including through the sinus area from my nose to above my ear on the right side. I have a weather station with a display of pressure and eventually realized my right side sinus headaches correlated quite well with low pressure.

I don't hurt all of the time but pain in my muscles at night correlates with barometric pressure changes that come with the cold fronts from Canada/ Alaska. I'm sure the foundation for that comes from the tendonitis from PMR and previous injuries from an active life.

Arthritis in my shoulders and back let me know when a storm is coming. Usually starts 2-3 days before it arrives.

i can feel in my left knee when bad or cold weather is coming up. but i wont complaint i can still walk despite the injury, surgeon did a deep great job after an accident.

I broke the Tib/Fib in my ankle years ago , for ten or fifteen years it would let me know when the rainy weather was coming . Not so bad down here .

My wife gets hemiplegic migraines. We've all but concluded that it is caused by rapid pressure swings. Sure enough this week it snowed here and we had a large pressure change and she got one.

Not an injury perse but it's something.

Oh man, this is an interesting one for me. I broke 3 bones on the top of my right hand in high school, 44 years ago. I can still feel a slight bother in that hand when the barometric pressure is making huge swings.

I call my wife the human barometer. She gets a headache anytime a weather front moves in.

Me too, car accident 30 years ago, broke the left arm in three pieces. Still have 6" of metal, pins and a bunch of screws on the radius. It lets me know when things are changing, the cold is around and when I try to lift things.

Also broke the left patella in college and it aches when ever we get a weather change.

Cheers

My ankles let me know when the deep freeze is coming.
My left leg and ankle look like that, I had some of it removed about 3 years after my initial surgery and after getting a second opinion, let me tell you it was the best thing I ever did, immediate relief, I encourage anyone full of hardware like that to get more than one opinion about getting it taken out if at all possible.

Too many that hurt on a regular basis.
I hurt all the time, and it’s hard to tell which is weather related

Same. I wish when I’m having a bad knee/back/shoulder/hand day the weather would turn, but it’s seems to just be me most of the time.
