Hello to all. Hunter/Gatherer/Fisherman here. Been on the planet a long time, mostly in the Northwestern USA. Love to hunt and fish and do some wild plant gathering when I can. Self employed in a small'ish rural part of Placer County, CA. Run an 06 H3 Hummer, set up for camping and hunting, not for cruising the boulevard like most of them. Messed up my shoulder a few years back and can't draw a bow anymore after 30 years of archery, so I shoot rifles and shotguns these days. Into primitive survival skills and always looking to connect with other folks who enjoy God's creation as much as I do.

I read a single thread about hunting one of the wildlife areas nearby and knew this was a good place for me. I learn as much from reading forum posts as I do scouting sometimes, and at $6.00 a gallon for fuel... I'm positive this Internet that folks are talking about is really going to be a big thing someday.
