Yeah, I saw it at 42 and figured I had to get off the fence and decided between an OG65 and the Reaper. Thought hard about just getting both.

Same here. I want a reaper to replace my scythe, but gonna go with the og 6.5 this time around. I'll use it as the primary hunting can for my boy and wife. I'll just keep shooting the scythe myself until it blows up.

Yeah, the Reaper not having HUB threads on the front end makes it less interesting to me. But, I want it to replace the Scythe as well. The OG65 fits my actual needs better though.

I might have to get a 300 Blackout barrel for my Encore and load subs just to have a use for the Scythe.

I thought I read somewhere that there were Hub threads on both sides of the Reaper?

I thought that was the case, but the US site says "Both ends are threaded, HUB for attachment, and the same threads as the OG L for the end cap."

Which implies they are different and this from the Reaper thread:
They have 1.58 / 24 threads for end cap which is not the same as "HUB" threads. Woulda been cool if they matched SiCo or dead air/DDC front threads to use existing end cap products.

Edit: the more i look at the SRS end cap brake, the more I like it (and it's price) than the recoilx options. Assuming it hangs functionally. I just have a couple recoilx caps already as sunk cost.

I can't find that, but the "only heat treated for Raw and Bead Blasted" has me wondering if I would rather bead blasted over Cerakote. At least in 3D printed Ti medical implants heat treatment improves tensile properties.

Yes, this is over thinking, but makes me wonder. I also bet Cerakote adds 3 grams and not sure the weight is worth it...:ROFLMAO:
