Off center polymer bullet tips

I have never seen one like that, one must have slipped through quality control. I am guessing that might have an effect.

I had a lot of Hornady that were like that, they took them back, shot them and warrantied them.

Yes, after my son bought this to my attention, I’ve been looking at many boxes of ttsx and lrx, some I’ve had for years and just wondering how much this off center issue affects accuracy?

I had some Barnes 225 TTSX that the tips were a little crooked. If you roll them down a flat surface (like a mirror), you can see the tips wobble. I called Barnes, and they sent me a new box, but told me to keep the crooked ones. He assured me that they would shoot fine. I reloaded them, and when I shot them at the range, there was no difference in the accuracy or grouping of the crooked tips.
