How do you keep track of the number of reloads on each case? Any kind of marking is sure to get cleaned off gun during Case prep.

I keep each batch in a reused Costco nut/trail mix bucket. Then slap a piece of painters tape on it with notes. One bucket per lot and shot count. If I’ve gone through and processed them at all (tumbled, annealed...) that goes on the tape.

I'm assuming you mean rifle? I use MTM cases for my rifle reloads and once it goes in the case to be loaded it stays there until it is trash. I keep up with the number of reloads on the label.

Every load gets a sticker with that info, among other things. After firing I transfer to quart sized ziplocks with # of x fired. They stay there until I'm ready to load em up. Every case is accounted for.

I have some containers from the dollar store that I use. I just throw some index cards in with them with where they are in round count / prep.
