Anyone know where you can get an oem tikka trigger spring that’s not from J&A outdoors? I have a aftermarket one wanting to switch back. If anyone is looking to trade for one too I would do that. Thanks

I got some I bought a while back when I saw the aftermarket spring problems. $5 in an envelope with a stamp or $10 with tracking. Won’t be able to ship them till next Fri/Sat as I’m leaving for a hunt tomorrow.

No they just want to charge me $22 for shipping the $9 spring
Yeah, that is pretty pathetic, and legally is fraud unless they ship it overnight or something that actually costs that much.

A first class stamp is enough to ship that spring through.

I have similar problems living in AK.

Yeah definitely one of the downsides not living in the lower 48.

Hardware store, grab whatever spring suits your needs.
Ball point pen spring... No, I'm not kidding... I changed both of mine to those and lightened the trigger perfectly. Suppose you'd have to find an extra strong one to replicate the OEM spring.

Like the others in AK and HI noted, getting stuff from the lower-48 can be a pain. Living in the boonies of AK calls for even more creative thinking about problems. (To add: And back when I changed mine, I'm not sure specific aftermarket springs were even available...?)

Ive done that before. Still prefer to buy a bag of springs from the hardware store. A longer lighter spring sometimes ends up being whatcha need.
