No they just want to charge me $22 for shipping the $9 springDo you not trust J&A to actually send an actual OEM spring?
Yeah, that is pretty pathetic, and legally is fraud unless they ship it overnight or something that actually costs that much.No they just want to charge me $22 for shipping the $9 spring
Yeah definitely one of the downsides not living in the lower 48.Yeah, that is pretty pathetic, and legally is fraud unless they ship it overnight or something that actually costs that much.
A first class stamp is enough to ship that spring through.
I have similar problems living in AK.
Ball point pen spring... No, I'm not kidding...Hardware store, grab whatever spring suits your needs.
Ball point pen spring... No, I'm not kidding...I changed both of mine to those and lightened the trigger perfectly. Suppose you'd have to find an extra strong one to replicate the OEM spring.

Yeah, big, heavy, and hazmat are really the only things that are harder to ship. Carlile helps with those. Everything else is pretty much just ignorance.Have to shop around a lot and get creative. Some companies and a lot of people seem to think that sending or receiving stuff from AK or HI is a problem. I still have people that tell me they only ship within the United States.
That is pretty bad. I had some fool in an RV tell me he was driving to "the North Pole" I asked if he ment to North Pole, AK and he said "no, the North Pole, you can't drive further North."My wife works for an airline and when she asks tourists where they are going to, some say “I’m going back to the States”.![]()
