Oddball shotgun for turkeys?

Just picked up an older Mossberg 500E .410 that I'm going to play with making an adapter on the 3d printer that will allow AR grips and stocks like they have for the larger framed 500s.

After finally FINDING some birds, I've decided to give my Mossberg 185K bolt with different choke tubes.
In August of 2019, I had a total shoulder replacement. Doctor said, "No recoil for at least ONE YEAR!"
A friend had this .410 he no longer used, so he sent it to me! I just had to buy the TSS!

My neighbor (landowner!) and me went scouting this morning. We shot up two sounders of hogs.... and to my surprise, within 2 minutes, THREE (3) jakes came strolling out into the pasture!


Season opens Apr 16!

Hunted for a few years with my Beretta Onyx 20. Have some Trulock turkey chokes and 3 inch Longbeards. Kills them good to 40.
