October haul road caribou?

Anybody have experience with October caribou? I planned for a stika blactail hunt in late August, so I didn`t apply any tag out west this year. Now I can`t make it due to work, and I am freaking out that I might not able to hunt this year. IT IS A BIG DEAL!!! It seems the earliest I can go out hunting this year is October, my boss gives me 2 weeks, so I have plenty of time. Is October caribou worth it? I plan to do a haul road archery/rifle hunt.

The rainforests on Montague will be similar. But you don't need to put that much effort into it. The deer are everywhere.

october and caribou doesnt work together if you intend to use the meat. even the dogs wont eat it ... unless your tags are for cow or calf ...

Plenty of deer hunting to do in October, but I don't think I'd want to hunt the haul road that month.
