I wore the Guide Lite pants archery elk in Utah and loved them. Really lightweight and flexible. Daily temps. from 40 to 70F.
During rifle elk I wore the Corrugate Guide and Obsidian Foundry pants. Daily temps. 20 - 50F. The Obsidians are warmer and quieter but are not very water resistant. Just walking thru wet brush or brush with snow on it will soak them. The Corrugate Guides feel lighter, are water resistant and a lot tougher. If you are climbing over/thru a lot of deadfall I would go with these.
The Obsidian Foundry pants would be too warm for me in 60-70F. I wear shorts at these temps. hiking if not busting brush
I appreciate quiet but more in my tops than my pants. For pants I want tough, water resistant fabric.
Hope this helps!
