I was just checking my zero for a match next weekend in a field behind my house. I’ve got a piece of steel at 350 and a doe was feeding about 200 yds out between me and the steel. He never reacted to the muzzle blast but would stop feeding and look at the steel when it rang. Season ended Jan 1st.

I work at a shooting school and have deer walk right out on the range in the middle of handgun or rifle classes with 15–20 people actively shooting. They just don’t care and have to be chased off before we can go back to shooting. Deer can act so smart, but man are they dumb sometimes.
