Nx8 2.5- vs 4-32 Reticle question

@FURMAN or anyone that has had or owned both.
I have a 4-32 and I like it.
But what I'm wondering is are the reticles the same size at say 4x.

Or are they different sizes in relation to the power.
Aka if I bought a 2.5 but always carried it on 4x would the reticle be easier to see?

Can I even mount a 2.5-20 nx8 in the hybrid rings?
Id really rather not do a rail.

In a long action the NX8 probably won't be long enough. In a short, it's close. NX8 is really best mounted in a set of pic rail rings from our experience.

My 2.5-20 is in hawkins hybrid rings but I have a short action.

4-32 and ATARC are just fine from what we've heard. We had a 4-32 in the shop but have not had a 2.5-20. Had lots of discussions with folks though. Shorts are almost always fine. Longs are tough since the NX8 is so short.

It's always best to have your scope in hand and measure too.

The reticle appears slightly larger on 4x in my 2.5-20.
I carry it on 6x for walking around in tight spaces
