Sitting back and thinking about this, given the composition of our current Congress, there is a greater likelihood during the remainder of his presidency that Obama is presented with a bill to divest federal land to the states than he is to be presented with a federal gun control bill. Your right on this for sure. Back to my first post though. If liberals were in control we would be very worried about ending up like Cali across the country. However national gun control was very close to happening after newtown. Colorado was the all liberal guinea pig for the Obama Biden Bloomberg admin and look what happened. Now this has happened in oregon etc.

It's been proven that gun control can be interpreted by liberal supreme justices. I have yet to see any legislation pass the constitutional court test, or even get close to passing as far as fed lands to the states.
