When you click on order on the NULA website it says to contact Wilson and has their info to place an order? Might be able to give them a call and order now.

Surprising, looks like on 20s and 20 308 length to start and maybe more later. Bill will jack up the prices for sure.

Will not go into production until late August, but will take pre-orders now.

Does anyone know the price point?
He said he wasn't sure yet. Might be more than what Melvin has been charging, might be the same, might be less. They are still figuring out exactly how they are going to produce it and what it will cost them.

And just like that the Fieldcrafts should drop in price. Might go ahead and pre-order
Think we need to see more details before that will happen. Need details on the stock, will the entire forend be bedded, short barrel with threads an option, still have a Timney? Interested for sure but I need to see some details before I pre order.

Be interesting to see if this is more of a $3000-3500 semi-custom mountain rifle or a $1800-2000 production gun (heir of Fieldcraft). Love my Fieldcraft - wanted a NULA for some time but couldn't justify the cost as my FC is perfect for what I use it for and more accurate than I can shoot. Glad this wonderful design will continue regardless!

That’s just about exactly how I have felt. I’ve talked to Melvin a few times, and even filled out the order form, but couldn’t decide on caliber. My FC in .308 is less than a cloverleaf gun. Not quite a one-hole, but close enough for having paid $1400 for it. Never could justify the $3500-$4200. Great design though.

If Kimber is getting out of the Montana (which it really feels like they're doing), this could be great if they can keep the price point under $2k.

Would be really weird of them though to make short action length in stuff like 223 and 350 Legend when it seems like everyone can make a lightweight rifle in that caliber for $500 these days that shoots sub MOA.

You mean because the dollar isn't worth anything right now? Right? Name something that hasn't gone up in price. The purchasing power of the dollar is pathetic right now and trending down.
