Nu-Way Stove in a Arctic Oven tent

So the search function brought up threads on these Nu-Way stoves in wall tents, but my Arctic Oven 12x12 is a different animal. Any first hand accounts or recommendations on a size of one of these stoves in a 12X12 AO? I doubt I will need the big one, even a buddy heater will keep us pretty comfy down to around 0 degrees, I just don't like the flop factor of a buddy heater with kids in the tent. The air tight wood stove I tried just burned us out of the place, and even with it shut down it proved to be too hot and a pain to regulate all night long. I like the idea of the Nu-Way, just don't want to go too big or too small.

I use the small single burner in my AO10 and AO12, plenty of heat, can run on low all night. Makes me lazy on cold mornings.

I've got a double burner (4000 I think?) and have never turned on the second burner in an Arctika (13x13). Might be useful for true winter camping, but for fall stuff, it's overkill. That said.... if you are going down to 0F, the size difference in the stoves is minimal, and you can always just run on one burner for fall trips.

so you have the model 2000? During the fall I only use a buddy heater to take the nip off while getting ready for bed or getting up, but the last few winter trips got me thinking about something I could just turn a knob and be done with since the wife demands warmth all night long, lol. Would the 2000 model on high get it hot in there when temps are around zero? How much propane do you burn through with one of these?

Yea, mine is the single burner 2000. Single digits is as cold as I have camped with it. I have run it on low all night for 10 to 14 day moose hunts and still had propane left with a standard BBQ size bottle.

Just ran mine in temps from-8 to 8 at night. I have the same tent, go with the big one with two burners, it knocks the chill off quickly. On the windy days the extra burner really helped warm it up quite a bit quicker.

What temperature can I expect the inside to be with a nuway stove in 20 degrees Fahrenheit? Is 70 degrees unreasonable?

Thanks
