Those 150 class show as not fully stable in 8 twist for some of us low landers.Looks like you will make power factor easily. When I used to shoot 140's I always always around 2750 which makes it by 30 FPS but it always worried me that you could be shooting slower for some reason one day and be on the edge. The easy way to make power factor and not have to step on pressure is usually a heavier bullet - 147 eldm, 153 a-tip, 153,5 berger, 156 berger.
That is true. I am shooting 153.5's at 2615 FPS in a 1/8 twist but I am usually shooting around 3,000 feet elevation.Those 150 class show as not fully stable in 8 twist for some of us low landers.
144s worked well for me at around 2675 in a 24” ctr. 42.0 h4350 in LRP Lapua.
