I'm trapping some fur before the ground freezes over.

We got three freezers full and headed out for a cow moose in the morning on my wife's tag. Already got one in September, but could probably shoot a dozen a year and still have a line of people out the door for some free meat!

I'm currently in the money making stage of "hunting season". Done spent it all in the last few months. Got to start stocking up again for next year.

Actually researching more tags for next year as we speak. I can get a late season cow tag in WY that runs until Jan 31st and I can get an OTC NE archery tag that runs until Dec 31st. I can go kick around for a few wknds this time of year. Not overly concerned with quality of hunts, mainly want to get out. Animals will be around somewhere.

Time for me to get another weight lifting program started to gain strength back from taking the last 3 months off,tinker with the bow a bit and work on keeping form together through the winter. Next target for me is 2023 spring bear with the bow.
