Good point above about how everyone picks and chooses on how much technology they feel is appropriate with the carbon arrows vs no water bottle comparison. To each his own.

I suppose the reason I just don't get not carrying a water bottle is because I'm a guy that doesn't do well when dehydrated. I hunt with a buddy that drinks about 1/3rd the water I do...I seriously don't know how he does it.
Me and you both. I have to ration when I’m out elk hunting because I drink like a camel, and I still cramp like crazy when I get back to the camp lol. I’m currently on a quest to find a quiet water bottle pouch for my pack that doesn’t make all the sloshing noises when I’m marching through the woods.

I do a camelback type bladder. Flip it over and drain the air out and its silent.
