Novix/Lone Wolf After Market Seat

I am trying to figure out something to do about my LW Assault 2 Seat. I have dealt with it for a long time and now I mostly stand, but my LW seat makes my whole lower body go numb. I am 6'5 250lbs and my butt digs into that seat. There is a seat from back in the day, hunt comfort, that was made for Assault 2, but finding one now if like finding gold. Do any of you have any mods, thoughts, or ideas? I have thought about getting a cheap ThermaSeat and cut it to fit, but first I wanted to check with the brain trust (you all).

head over to your local Walmart and buy a foam pad and some velcro straps. cut out foam pad to size of seat, put about 4 holes in the pad and run the velcro straps through it to attach it to the seat. boom problem solved

There is an aftermarket mesh seat like the millenniums that is really comfortable. I put one on my assault 2, it was like $85 last year.

Can you still find the XOP seats? I had gotten a couple. They were like 2.5" thick foam. Way more comfortable.

Might be someone has old inventory.

What happened to Hunt Comfort? Out of business?
I have one I carry in my pack for every treestand, ladder, hang-on, climber. I love it. Still looks brand new.

Just looking around the internet, the Tail Mate looks similar. I think the gel center is helpful over just a foam pad that bottoms out after long sits, pun intended.

I hear you, with all my heavy clothes, seats not much of an issue. On warmer hunts I pack a small square pillow in for the same reason. Ass goes numb on those standard seats.

I had the same issue, couldn’t sit more than a couple hours without moving around. I bought a hunt comfort seat last year and it completely changed my stand. They were bought out and changed the name to tail mate, worth every penny.

They discoed the seat that fits the Lone Wolf but you can get a bigger one and cut it down or cut a piece of plywood to fit the new cushion and bolt it to the tree stand seat. At 6'5 adding to the seat height should help also.
