Went to the northwest sportsmans show in Portland today, and ran across these guys. I've been struggling with my s4 gear universal adapter, but making it work for a couple years now. It has shortcoming. Doesn't like to repeatably line the phone camera up to the optic cause it's built a little to light weight, the strap to attach it to a spotting scope was a little bit janky, the adjustments are screw threaded, which would make it nice to really dial in the lineup, but they are also so light duty that they flex and throw everything off.

I don't like the magnetic adapters. Don't want to swap my phone case around for a special case to glass, and use multiple phones amongst my buddies on the spotting scope.

The Novagrade is awesome though, it is very repeatable, so it's quick to deploy. Holds the scope and phone both extremely securely, built heavy enough to not flex and be a bother, yet is still pretty light weight, and they had a 40$ off special for the show.
I cant imagine another product that would work as well as this for my application, super happy I stumbled across it!

Long time Rokslide sponsor. We’ve used them a lot between staff members. Buncha reviews here. They were also in the Best of 2023 head to head Matt did in 2023

You’ll be happy with the solidness of the connection. Fill us in more as you get some time on it.

Yeah I see the awesome reviews and the head to head thing now. I wasn't in the market so haven't kept up on what's new and what's good, glad I stumbled into a good thing with good folks running it!

I was gifted a single Novagrade. Works well, I've used it a lot. I had a case specific setup but changing cases out to go hunt and back was a pain. Now like you I use the Novagrade and leave the regular case on. It won't work on twin spotters though, the attachment ring/collet setup is way too big to fit between the two oculars. I've been muling over how to modify it to make it work.
