I've never had any merino from any company last two years. But I will say the Aerowool is pretty tough for a merino blend.

I used "within two years" because some
pieces failed much sooner than that, while others lasted closer to the two year mark. I think if the life expectancy of merino wool base layers and mid layers is <2 years (and this is known and admitted by the manufacturers) then prices or information should reflect as such. It's said to think a guy would pay $115 for a shirt that's described as "top of the line" and utilizes all sorts of other buzz words and marketing while the company knows the shirt won't last the average hunter through two seasons. That's a low and sad standard.
